About Michael Palacios

Mike, 21 years young, started what is now Dade Designs at the age of 19. Dade, as he is often called by friends, picked up a camera and started taking pictures, and with his Photoshop know-how he made snapshots into art. Today, 1 1/2 years later, Mike doesn’t just take, he delivers. His ability to make an ordinary shot into a masterpiece is invigorating. He takes what you and i would see as an everyday site…as building, a boat, an old church, and makes it desirable. The run down neighborhoods are suddenly palaces, and the models its kings and queens.

Mike takes life -at its worst and best- and makes it beautiful. Nobody would think to mix a gorgeous model with an abandoned warehouse, but mike did. Who could drive down to Calle Ocho, to the areas where trash is thrown and dumpsters are tagged, and make it into something enviable? Mike could. What is the secret of Dade Designs? It’s his.
